St Joseph of Arimathea was a rich man, a member of the Sanhedrin who disagreed with Jesus’ conviction. He prepared his own tomb for the burial of Jesus after Jesus's Crucifixion. St. Joseph of Arimathea is the Patron Saint for coffin-bearers, funeral directors, morticians, pallbearers, tin miners, tin smiths, undertakers, Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Vancouver and Glastonbury cathedral. Saint Joseph of Arimathea memorial feast day is March 17th.
