St. Seraphina, also known as St. Fina, was a compassionate and devout young girl who remained faithful and courageous despite her severe physical suffering. She had a strong devotion to prayer and serving others, and her devotion to St. Gregory the Great brought her peace in her pain. When she passed away, her holiness was shown by the wooden plank on which she rested being covered in white flowers. March 12th marks the memorial feast day of Saint Seraphina, the patron saint of the disabled, handicapped, physically challenged, and spinners.
