Walter of Pontnoise (French: Walter, Gaultier, Gaucher; c. 1030 – c. 1099) was a French saint and monk of the eleventh century. Revered for his empathy, he aided a captive in fleeing while residing in Rebais. St. Walter of Pontnoise is the Patron Saint of prisoners, prisoners of war POWs, vintners, and invoked in opposition to work-related tension. Saint Walter of Pontnoise Memorial Feast Day is March 23 and April 8th.
