Saint Alexander of Bergamo (died c. 303) is the patron saint of Bergamo, Italy. He was a Christian martyr, traditionally a Roman soldier, who was beheaded for refusing to renounce his faith during the Diocletianic persecution. His feast day is 26 August.

Adorable centerpiece. I was close to the $100 free shipping limit, so it was almost the same price to add it to my order. I accidentally broke the bottom loophole when trying to install it on a mini-rosary, but I was able to clean up the broken end to make it look like a good 2-hole necklace charm.
