Our porcelain bas-relief Capodimonte Cameos are created with a white opaque, bas-relief bisque onto a previously colored jasperware base, and then firing it in one piece at temperatures of up to 1200 C. This age-old technique is known as del-l'ingobbio which was the first developed by the Egyptians more 3,000 years ago.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

This image depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus, surrounded by Saints Gabriel and Michael. Originally placed in a church destroyed by the French in the late 1400s, it now resides at the Church of Saint Alphonsus, with numerous replicas found worldwide. Known as Our Lady of Perpetual Help, she is the patron saint of never-ending hope, and her feast day is celebrated on June 27th.
