Saint Ivo of Kermartin was a parish priest among the poor of Louannec and was known as the "Advocate of the Poor", Ives, as Erwann (in Breton) and as Yves Hélory (also Helori or Heloury in French). St. Ivo of Kermartin is the patron saint of Brittany, lawyers, Advocates, Judges, Notaries and abandoned children. St Ivo of Kermartin memorial feast day is May 19th.
