St Alexander Sauli the Apostle of Corsica. At the University of Pavia, Alexander taught theology and philosophy. He became a bishop in Aleria, Corsica, where he modernized the town by building churches, schools, and seminaries. He is the Patron Saint of seminarians and Corsica, Barnabite. His memorial feast day is October 11th.
