Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg

The bishop of Regensburg in Bavaria from Christmas 972 until his death was Wolfgang of Regensburg (Latin: Wolfgangus; c. 934 - 31 October 994 AD). He holds the title of saint in both the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches and is recognized as the patron saint of apoplexy, carpenters, wood carvers, paralysis, strokes, stomach diseases, and Regensburg, Germany. His Memorial Feast Day is October 31.
