Saint Zachary

St. Zachary, a priest in Jerusalem and the father of St. John the Baptist, was blessed with a vision from an angel that his wife Elizabeth, who had passed the age of child-bearing, would bear a son. The child was named John and St. Zachary is now recognized as the Patron Saint of Expectant Mothers. On November 5th, we celebrate the memorial feast day of Saint Zachary and Elizabeth.
