Saint Maria Goretti

At the age of twelve, Maria Goretti was attacked by her teenage neighbor. He tried to rape her and when unsuccessful, he stabbed her a number of times. She forgave him on her deathbed and returned to him in a vision, upon which he converted to the Faith. St. Maria Goretti is the Patron Saint for Children, Teenagers & Against Poverty. Maria Goretti memorial feast day is July 6th.
