Saint Frances Cabrini was the first United States citizen to be canonized. She was born in Italy and moved to New York to care for poor children in hospitals, especially immigrants from Italy. She started many schools, orphanages, and hospitals. St. France Cabrin is the Patron Saint for Hospital Administrators. St Frances Cabrini memorial feast day is November 13th.
