Saint Luke the Apostle

St. Luke the Apostle wrote the Gospel According to Luke, based largely on the influence of Saint Paul, and the Acts of the Apostles, a history of the early church. It is said that he was a painter, but his works have never been correctly attributed to him. St Luke is the patron saint for artists, butchers, doctors, glass industry, goldsmiths, jewelers, notaries, painters, physicians, sculptors, and surgeons.
