Our Lady of Tears

The invocation of Our Lady of Tears, also known as the Marian devotion, is linked to the apparitions experienced by Sister Amalia of Jesus Flagellated in Campinas, Brazil in 1930. This devotion is associated with the Virgin Mary, particularly at the chapel of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Jesus Crucified in São Paulo. The memorial feast day for Our Lady of Tears is celebrated on January 24th.
