Light in the darkness. St. Lucy — whose very name means “light” — was a Sicilian martyr who consecrated her life to Christ and refused to renounce her faith, even at the cost of her life. She is patroness of the blind, those with eye ailments, and those who suffer from epidemics. She is honored in this beautifully detailed round sterling silver medal, handcrafted from solid .925 sterling silver by skilled American artisans. The medal depicts St. Lucy holding a palm and a dish with eyes — the palm is the symbol of her martyrdom, and the eyes represent her patronage of sight and her unwavering spiritual vision.

  • Medal dimensions: 0.9" x 0.7" (22mm x 18mm), weight: 3.3 grams
