Saint Jerome became a monk and lived as a hermit in the desert. His biggest accomplishment was the revision of the Bible into Latin. He was a strong advocate of celibacy and even considered loving a woman as adultery. St Jerome is the Patron Saint for Archeologists, Librarians and Translators. Saint Jerome memorial feast day is September 30th.

Adorable centerpiece. I was close to the $100 free shipping limit, so it was almost the same price to add it to my order. I accidentally broke the bottom loophole when trying to install it on a mini-rosary, but I was able to clean up the broken end to make it look like a good 2-hole necklace charm.
