Saint Junipero Serra
St Junipero Serra O.F.M. (November 24, 1713 – August 28, 1784), was a Roman Catholic Spanish priest and friar of the Franciscan Order who founded a mission in Baja California. He was know as the Apostle of California. St Junipero Serra is the patron saint of Vocations, Hispanic Americans and California. Saint Junipero memorial feast day is July 1st for the United States and August 26th for Mexico.
