Saint Louis was King Louis IX who ruled over France for over forty years. He was crowned at the age of twelve and died on the second crusade that he led. He established leper hospitals and monasteries, and fathered eleven children. St. Louis is the Patron Saint for Builders and Parenthood. St King Louis IX memorial feast day is August 25th.
