Our Lady of Sorrows/Mater Dolorosa
The term Mater Dolorosa, also known as Our Lady of Sorrows, refers to the Virgin Mary and her suffering, which has been the subject of many works of art in the Catholic Church. Additionally, Our Lady of Sorrows is the patron saint of Abuse, Heartbreak, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Malta, Seven Sorrows of Mary, Mississippi, Ronda, Cebu, Tanawan, and Bustos, Bulacan. Her Memorial Feast Day is celebrated on September 15th.
